@ Johnny. My car had issues with Water ingress through the windshield at time of build. This affected the windshield camera rendering many of the cars features useless (Lane Assist, Active Cruise, Dynamic Sign Recognition, and Adaptive Headlights). Not to mention constant warnings. The issue kept recurring every 3 weeks after the car kept going to the dealership. Since July it had gone in to the dealers 9 times and was with them for 9/10 days at a time. Which meant I was driving some right rubbish hire cars from Motability (the worst being Hyundai Tucson petrol). So the complaint to Motability was escalated , hence cancellation and a pro rata refund including cost of extras I pad for.
@ Anneka TPMS is the tyre pressure monitoring system which displays the actual tyre pressure in the Actuve Info Display. I had this on my previous car (BMW X1 25d xLine) having not ordered it on this and I miss it! Tyre pressures can fluctuate wildly given the sudden drops and rises in temps. As for the white – I still think the Tiguan R-Line looks the BEST IN WHITE. However, my current (Tiguan) and previous (X1) were both white so I wanted a change . That’s all. I forgot to mention that I also specced HUD as well.
With regards to your current order, if you want to add anything extra you would have re-order all over again. Once it goes into nearly build stage you can’t change anything. So I wouldn’t advise this unless you’re ok with waiting all over again. Besides who knows whether there will be any changes to availability of the R-Libe from 1st Jan and with Brexit looming.
