in this case i think its a case of better the devil you know.
i would be more concerned if it were a chinese or russian or even arab takeover.
once these companies float and the owners like the cobhams take their money and run then youre at risk from the venture capitalists. short of the govt buying a controlling stake theres not much they can do.
especially when were still governed by eu rules etc.if lady cobhams so concerned she should have kept a controlling stake.
