This article, while informative, misses out on a very important point. It’s a subscription service and with manufacturers moving the same way with tech as with build extras in that they are moving to only offer packs instead of individual extras, it won’t be available on its own for long.
For example, with BMW, if you want ‘Over the air map updates’, it is now only available as a pack with 7 other services which is £159 for 12 months.
