    Always was a marmite car, you either love the styling or hate it. Put a more conventional body shell on the chassis and it would sell loads as it’s a great drive.

    The problem is that it’s ok for the likes of BMW and Audi to replace models like the i3 with models costing over £50k then stating most people can afford them. The new i3 and i4 prices won’t be affordable for most motorists just like Tesla’s.

    We will be stuck with the likes of MG, KIA, Renault etc. with power outputs below 150 bhp.
