Well, I’ve sat on my hands for long enough. BMW wanted £3300 for X2 in spec I want. Vauxhall wanted £3500. Skoda couldn’t even match the spec neither could Audi. So went back to Merc and the GLA. I know it’s due to be updated in 2020 but who cares it’s only an internal update. I have secured an AMG 200 with Night Pack, OK so it hasn’t got DAB radio but it has got CD player. Mirrors don’t fold, I can live with that. What it has got is self park, elec tailgate, heated seats and plastic leather, and a three pointed star. 0-60 in 8 secs. What do you want, with Brexit coming who knows how much a Merc will be. All this for £1199 plus a £750 rebate so only £449 payable you can’t get a Dacia for that. Happy days.
