Unfortunately, like most contemporary SUV’s the new model’s roof line seems to curve down quite a lot towards the rear.
Thus it limits the opening aperture of the tailgate – all important when a wheelchair (and potentially a hoist to lift it) needs to fitted in.
If only they would leave the roof-line level and ‘square off’ the opening aperture of the tailgate, it would make it much more practical for wheelchair users (however it would invariably look like the rear end of a Citroen Berlingo)!
