There weren’t any hybrid suv’s on the scheme when we were looking.
But of the SUV’s I tested the Honda Crx was real bargain.
Something like £399 AP for the sat nav version, but the interior was very dated.
For tech as standard and ease to drive the Tiguan in higher specs is hard to beat. With its lane guidance and intelligent cruise control it’s such a doddle to drive long distances.
But you can switch it all off if you want. Plus 50mpg ( more on motorway trexks ) in real world driving on such a big car is great.
Just don’t buy the 1.5 manual version or you may get one that kangaroos when cold?
