BYD are refreshing the Atto 3 with gentle tweaks inside and out and calling the Atto 3 Evo. Both the Design and Excellence use a 74.8kWh battery pack, up from the previous 60.5kWh. Boot space is increased by 50l and there’s a 101l frunk.
The base Design model uses a single 309bhp e-motor on the rear axle, BYD claiming a 0-62mph sprint time in 5.5 seconds and a claimed WLTP range of 317 miles. The more powerful Excellence model, meanwhile, uses two e-motors for all-wheel drive and develops 443bhp, good for a 0-62mph sprint time of 3.9 seconds and a claimed range of 292 miles. BYD points out that the new Atto 3 Evo also comes with vehicle-to-load technology that allows you to power devices via the car.
Still retains the guitar strings, so the kids can drive you nuts!
No doubt it will come to the scheme shortly or at least one version will.
