Yeah i know, but i didn’t know how to activate the brake cleaning, cheers for that. Will do that a few times next drive – i do use a lot of regen braking due to not being 100% confident with the car, so i verge to the careful side of driving (slow, basically). It don’t need a few thousand miles though, the tyres are settled after 150ish miles. It’s not 1985 anymore

Activate brake cleaning, it stays on untill you turn it off or turn ign off. Don’t forget EV tyres are made with a much harder composition and wear 30% slower, than standard non EV tyres – In 1985, I was working at Michelin Stoke, as an electro-mechanical engineer and got free trial tyres, not as it’s useful information😂

Pirelli actually makes no reference to break in period, they’re good to go from the start. I do think it’s going to improve a bit once the tread wears down a little bit (feels a little like it’s pushing laterally on the tread), but yeah.. They feel settled otherwise.

My only concern is, Kwik Fit. I don’t want them to throw some random ass tyre on there – i don’t think Pirelli P-Zero E are a tyre they’d stock a lot of.
