You’re lucky your Housing Benefit actually covers your full rent – alas where I live the set rates are way below the true prices each month of private renting and council properties are like hens teeth but most importantly moving would take me out of my GP surgery catchment area and I simply cannot leave them I’ve too much going on.
I have a “P.A” I have to pay for doing jobs etc that I cannot do anymore but keep her hours as low as I can that’s what the PIP is for really. I’m pleased you’re able to take the hit of £300 a month and still live within your means
