@Ryan Yes you can adjust it, when I first got the car I was disappointed I put the bass and treble to the max and it made a huge difference in sound quality.
In my opinion now that I have it I wouldn’t trade it in just for HK especially if you use the speakers to enjoy music at a high quality sound and not to have a club inside your car. It depends how much you need to have the maximum speaker power.
The base speaker is an awful 100 watts, HiFi has 205 watts and HK has 464 watts, so you can imagine these are in between, I listen to music a lot and think they are good.
However if you had Bose, Bowers and Wilkins, Burmester speakers in the past then maybe you want to get HK.
