Does anyone know if there are charges and how much if you wanted a longer cable? The 8m one instead of 5m for instance.
You get an 8m cable free if you select that option. You also can, if you go untethered) buy longer cables if that’s what you need. I’ve seen 20m type 2 cables but they’re not cheap.
I went untethered because I already have a 10m cable to avoid charger blocking out in car parks. The car comes with a 5m cable and I’ve opted for the charger to provide an 8m cable. That guarantees I’ve got the right cable to reach wherever the charge point is one whatever car comes next as well as for this one.
I had my Ohme survey through to complete yesterday and our incoming box had 2 cables and 100amps on the tag so I’m assuming this is a good thing ?
