I was told by a Abarth senior that Motability will not go over the 29 insurance group on there cars and it was also told to me by motability as I have the Mini JCW which is lower insurance group and to be honest not only Tesla but other EVS may become too expensive to insure as was told in Car dealer Magazine when the boats ships catching fire recently they are wondering if the cost of insuring EVS will become too expensive or even uninsurable. They may have to go with more non combustible batteries, Which I think is starting to happen in more expensive EVS.
They are now saying the Fremantle Highway ship fire (probably) wasn’t caused by an EV fire.
