We’ve had pleasant experiences with the grants team,and recently applied and although it did seem a tiny bit more abrasive it was probably because we were vague on the application and unprepared when they phoned 3 weeks later, but we got there in the end . I suppose what im saying is know what you need and why ,also if your previous experience was good it would seem you know how to communicate with them. Good luck.
