The thing to remember is that all that Motability can pay is 39 times the 4 weekly benefit amount plus whatever Advance Payment is requested plus the expected future value of a 3 year old car. It appears that Motability are reluctant to ask above £8k for a car, so a £100k BMW isn’t going to happen.
If, however, a manufacturer decides to join or place a new model onto the scheme, discounts will be needed to get to an agreeable price. Currently there appears a ceiling of around £50k for cars with the likes of the Mach E slightly pushing that.
