    @Doughnut it sounds like this is exactly the type of dealer that will give you a host of headaches and stress. I wouldn’t want a promise of monthly updates, mostly because the instant one is missed my confidence would run out the window. It might be worth your while phoning around the not so local dealerships and see what they’re saying, remembering those awkward questions just to filter out the bulls^*##ers. To go from 4-6 weeks for one in the network to monthly updates and an open ended delivery time just because you challenged just makes me wonder what the reality will look like and how bad their customer service will be.

     

    Indeed, I’m concerned of what’s to come.

    Having spoken with another dealer I’ve been assured a lead time of November which is fairly quick. However, if I cancel with dealer A and go with dealer B, would A know I’ve been dabbling in the pot so to speak lol
