today the veterans agency sent me a letter asking for me to send them proof of date of birth.
fortunately i have my original birth certificate which spookily i found in a pile of papers just the other day.
apparently as my war pension is over 40% there is an age uplift when you hit 65.
who knew there was such a thing as an age allowance not me at any rate.
now birthday is in september but i am not 65 till next year nearly 15 months away.
so either they are ahead of themselves and very prepared, or maybe they are so slow it takes them a year to sort it lol.
£15 per week at current rates.
