@jojoe we are in the same position, last year we did 6,000 miles and this year is likely to be less. At some point the convenience of motability will be outweighed by the cost.
Unfortunately there is no rebate for low mileage even though it is likely low mileage cars will sell quicker and for more money than those with high mileage.
