It doesn’t matter today as most TV’s are 4k UHD anyway. You can sit closer to 4k tvs because you don’t see the pixel lines. However sit to far away you don’t get the benifit from HD upscaling to near 4k as your eyes will process HD and thats why size matters!
I sit 6ft away from a 55″.
The minimum you should be looking for is Quantum dot (QLED)
