Thing is he’s ordered the Ultimate at £199 / £600 cheaper than it’s listed now. If he has to reorder it surely Mb should honor the original price it was ordered at given their guarantee that if the price rises you will pay the price you order the car at. I too would walk away but that leaves him having to pay alot more which ain’t on IMO.
