We have had a call today from Ohme and sent a link to do a sort of DIY survey for the EV charger installation, then need pictures/video and a drawing.
two small issues (one not so small maybe??)
the 1st problem the smaller one, we recently had some electrical work done following a extension build and we had a new consumer box fitted, i had breaker installed just for the EV charger as we had decided at that time we would go electric. that side is fine but although we have got a nice certificate with all the boxes ticked for the installation , water pipe bonding, gas pipe bonding etc when i look at the water pipes i cant see the physical binding wires, not all the pipe work is visible as its behind units or boxed in. the gas pipe is visible and i can see the earth wire bonded to that. i have spoken to the electrician that did the work (we know him and have used him before , and he assures me its all been done correctly, just worried as its not visible despite having a new certificate. hope thats not a problem??
the second bigger problem is a bit more of a worry,
Our bungalow has the incoming mains cable coming into the garage and on the common wall between ours and the Neighbours garage, the mains input loops into our box and then back out to theirs, i believe its called a looped system, is that going to be a problem???
anyone any experience with these issues?
cheers
Paul
