Hi all, I remember some years back I had to pay an advance payment of £999 for a Nissan +2 (ah, what happy days of low ap’s) and tried to pay with cash!!!!!!!! you would have though I had slept with the salesman wife, I could not believe a very large multi branch dealership were afraid of real money!!!!! I was asked to maybe pay by card or cheque (would need to clear before pick up) and even bank transfer all this while I stood in the dealership with full CASH payment. what a farce, good luck but I would pay the way that you are most comfortable with and card gives you added security in case there is a problem.
