That said the suitcase method is often used by car reviewers but do wonder are all suitcases the same size? I know they have a particular size for aircraft cabin luggage but not sure if there’s an international, set in stone sizes for suitcases generally or maybe there is, I don’t know.
Simple and plain way for me is a tape measured boot length, width and height, what can be more informative. The only reviews I see that use a tape measure is Tomas at Autogefuhl and is the go to one I use for real boot space information.
