The vast majority of cyclists have third part insurance as part of their house insurance (the risks are so low that it’s covered in the small print). Cyclists pay the same VED as an electric car and many petrol car drivers. (If you’re still paying road tax, then I’d get a refund as it was abolished in the 1930s!)
