Had VW not removed there cars from Motability I would be now in the queue waiting for a SWB Tiguan to be delivered however the Allspsace was preferred but when they removed it waiting for the facelift to arrive I put more effort into seeing if the standard Tiguan would fit my needs.
As it happens the standard Tigger would have and would have saved me money too with the smaller AP and better MPG carry less weight however as we all know VW have removed all Tiguans so all my work seeking information about these cars all have gone with the wind.
Moving on and having been shoe horned into looking for smaller car that can handle my needs with first the Allspace, Tarraco going then the SWB Tigger its made me look hard at finding something else and having done hours and hours over the past 3 weeks of work looking at the suitability of the new Ford Kuga Mk3 I’m more or less hoping to sign on the dotted line for one of these by then end of next week but still have to do one or two more visits to the showroom next week just to be certain it does what I want it to then its VW kiss my butt good-bye for the second time in 2 renewals.
The area the Tiguan is lacking for me now is the lack of Hybrid and prospects of a car averaging MPG around 30 miles in town is not one I would relish now and the ability to pre-heat the car on frozen cold Winter mornings is something I’m looking forward to in the Hybrid Kuga.
Just hope I have found a way to get my scooter into the boot of the Kuga, good chance now, but have to double check.
I won’t burn my bridges yet with my local VW dealer but if everything goes well next week they will get one last email from me telling them once again of my disgust of VW because I am someone who hold a grudge.?
