Winter’s Tale continues to intrigue and grip me. His pastiche/parody of the newspapers is so bitingly true. The Whale’s editor/publisher (Binky?) is just SO Maxwell. Now, non-journo readers might find the parody of the man (and the newspapers) as over the top. They most certainly are not. Damn close to the truth, particularly in Binky’s psychopathic unreality.
