    So about swearing. Regional dialect. South Yorkshire for instance has a word often used in place of a swear word beginning with F. The word is chuffing. The Urban dictionary says the following:

    “A popular term used in South Yorkshire. Term, a less crude term use in place of F***

    So you would say after hitting you thumb with a hammer ” Chuffing Hell” or “Thas a chuffing idiot lad”

    So any such words commonly used in place of swear words in your region?
