They’re a bit Marmite, I reckon, involving a small, eccentric section of The Met who deal with things supernatural. The Sweeney meets Harry Potter. I only bought the first one because the “hero” was a uniform PC based in Charing Cross nick and is a dead ringer for our son-in-law. After that, I got hooked, as did all of our kids.
