My old Alhambra had auto setting but it was mental, always going from the odd wipe to full beans regardless of how wet the screen was and it would never reactivate after stopping and starting the car. ?♂️
The new one has auto but also has a separate intermittent setting that’s matched to your speed, I find I use the single wipe until the rain gets stronger and the the intermittent setting, the auto function is as dumb as every other car I’ve ever driven and just as random.
Auto lights on the other hand I’ve had on all my cars now for the last 8-9 years and the intelligent high beam on the latest few is a great feature, so much so that I can’t remember the last time I manually used the lights, I am happy in the knowledge that I will never be driving at night with no lights on or just the DRL’s like some muppets you see.
