I have been warned! Thank you. My own favourite bit of road here is the A280 from the A27 at Patching/Clapham to the A24 at Findon. Can be a bit over subscribed with heavies and not really a vroomy thing at all, It simply weaves along the banks of the South Downs being utterly English! You may know it already, it is a good rat-run to avoid the bunged up A27 or 259.
Failing that, any B-road in Rutland!
