How can it baffle you ? people just like saving money pretty reasonable I think.
if you are not breaking the contract and the dealer is happy doing it what’s wrong with that ?
I have had this happen to me twice and both times the dealer has adjusted the order without prompting, but if they didn’t I would ask.
If they were against it I would consider changing my order.
