    I commend you for your moral standpoint and being happy to pay a higher AP than you might have to but, like many others, I take a different view.

    Motability choose to set APs at levels that fund salaries, benefits and bonuses at all levels in the organisation (not just the CEO) that are significantly above sector average, even though they are a Monopoly and don’t face competitive pressures. All of this is funded by the sacrificed benefits and APs paid for by disabled people. I think that’s morally wrong. Therefore, if a dealer is happy to spend a few minutes adjusting the AP on the Motability system, then I’m happy for them to do so.
