this is why the ap’s are going up idiots getting electric vehicles not doing the homework first and then wingeing about the range when it the drivers own actions that are half the problem.
you cant drive an electric car the way you do an ice. not if you want to get even close to the declared range and everyone by now should know the manufacturers range of any car is bo**ocks.
i dont change till may26 but i am already researching cars to see if they would be an option at the right ap.
i only do 100 miles a week but wont consider any electric with less than 250 real world range, that way i should only have to charge once a fortnight and even then there needs to be some chargers built around here to use as i cant get offroad parking to charge at home. so at the moment electric and phev are out.
