EV’s consumption increases dramatically as speeds rise. Added to that the cold weather and the use of climate control will also have a knock affect with range to some degree.
Tootling down the motorway at 56mph in with HGV traffic, where wind resistance can be offset to some degree, is different to travelling at 80+mph, although I do know where the op is comming from not wanting to sit a 50mph down a motorway.
