If the charger thinks it has more time to charge it will throttle back the charge speed, even if you plug and go. See images
Technically, a charger should only be smart if you use the chargers inbuilt featurers and service’s. If your using the vehicles own inbuilt service’s, in your case the Skoda app, then the charger has no control other than providing, full current/power or what the car asks for, as a dumb charger would.
