Like others have mentioned, I’m a little concerned at how high the consumption will be on the E3008. The projected miles just seems to be way in excess of what I’m actually getting. If I drive 10 actual miles, the range in the car drops by 20 miles, as an example. So I’m worrying that I won’t even get 200 miles from a full charge…. and that’s in decent weather, eco mode, just me in the car and babying the accelerator! To be fair, after only having it for 12 days, I haven’t let the SOC drop below 50% before topping it up. I’m wondering if, like some ICE cars I’ve had, the range drops like a stone the fuller the tank is and settles down below half full…

    Hello there,

Electric battery vehicles are at their most efficient when the battery is up to temperature and they aren’t at their most efficient doing short journeys with a cold battery. After 10 miles or so, depending on the ambient temperature, the efficiency improves greatly, so ignore the efficiency readings after short journeys with a cold battery. ICEs are exactly the same.

Just live with the car and you’ll learn how it behaves.

    Happy motoring 🤞👍
