Because of the lengthy delay I have contacted another Motability supplier for a different vehicle. This is the first Motability vehicle that I have applied for and the Peugeot Dealer offered £750 towards the lease when I signed for the contract. Does this apply to all manufacturers? I am still worried about cancelling the original Peugeot lease contract and if there will be any implications financially, can anyone foresee any problems?
Not sure what deals Peugeot had, at time of you ordering but, I remember when the 3008 first came to the scheme they had a £500 contribution towards the electric versions.
The £750 sounds very much like the New Vehicle Payment given by Motability towards the advance payment or deposited into your bank. This has nothing to do with Peugeot and the offer will be available regardless of manufacturer/dealership you choose.
You can cancel upto the point before entering your PIN number, without any financial implications. The only time you may encounter financial implications is, if you had ordered factory fitted options, that wern’t common.
You have nothing to worry about cancelling and ordering from another dealer.
