I was seriously considering an EV but seems I will need a non-standard charger so will have to pay extra. I see the new Golf R line 150 is available for an AP of £1199 which has the same engine as the Leon FR I currently have on lease so I may abandon the EV idea.
OHME says I will need extra long cables because of the distance to my drive from the power box. I have emailed them back to see how much this will cost.
