    Do you know what kWh your friend is able to generate from above methods for his farm’s electricity and is this coping with their existing demand or do they use a generator?

    Unfortunately this is likely to be out of the realms of Ohme, as they can’t see past anything other than “on grid” connections. However, there are ways of doing it, without jumping through the regulations on grid user’s have when connecting a charger.

    If your friend, which I imagine they would have a commando socket fitted somewhere suitable with being on a farm. Equally an EV charger doesn’t need to be smart or all singing and dancing being off grid and a cheap £200-300 charger would do and can if be powered from a genny, if powerful enough.

    If you can answer my first question I’m happy to go further into it 🙂
