I was torn between shooting star grey and Teal Green when I got mine, so researched the maintenance for the paint. It all depends on how much effort you want to put in.
You can get special waxes for matte paint that simply protect the paint if you really want but in reality all you need to do is wash the car with a normal car washing shampoo without any polish/shine additives.
Most dealership paint protection is, at best, overpriced. If you want lasting protection, go speak to a professional valeter (a proper one who can rejuvenate paint as well as clean a car) and see what they can offer. It might cost more but you can rest assured it’s done properly. I’ve heard that Motability don’t allow ceramic coatings but have no idea if that’s true or not.
I'm Autistic, if I say something you find offensive, please let me know, I can guarantee it was unintentional.
I'll try to give my honest opinion but am always open to learning.
