You dont lose any good condition bonus if you hand the car back early. I handed my first car back 1 and half years early and I only had to pay £50 plus got good condition bonus once it was handed back. So the £250 people are quoting is prob when your at the start off the lease not at the end.
I’m going to proceed and see what happens in this process and report back. For context my window for ordering was 10th February 2024 my current car says lease end 13th May 2024. Car ordered 12th May and delivered to dealers from stock. It’s arrived I’m just waiting on it being registered. My account on motability has changed to read ‘current car on extension as you have ordered a new car, the handover date is between you and the dealer’ which sounds to me like a green flag to get on with it.
