I have placed an order for a EV I have received the survey email from Ohme and have completed the survey and it’s with them for feedback I have a mid terraced property but do have dedicated parking at the rear To get charger installed I need some ducting installing under some paviours and paving as its the easiest run down the garden It’s only about 8mtrs from the rear to the property to where the charger needs to be installed Am I better getting a third party in to install the 50/63mm ducting or just let ohme constructor to do it all off they will Is this something they would do or should I just go ahead and get the ducting done? Cheers Carl

Where is your electric meter – in the front room?

I would almost definately say get a 3rd party to do the work however, given you have essentially asked Ohme I’d wait to see with what they come back with first.

If your electric meter is indeed in the front room, the supply cable to the charger will ultimately have to run through the house to the rear to the outside, which again would be likely cheaper doing or getting someone to do it for you. You wouldn’t need a sparky for this as you’d just be running the cable from a to b (outside) Ohme will do all necessary electrical connections.

Do you have a cellar, wooden floorboards ?
