Many thanks both of you for all your help when you plug charger in car grill I presume you lock the car and it’s locks the charger ?

As soon as the car starts charging it locks the the cables in place, car locked or otherwise. We really liked the Niro 4 if it wasn’t for the space inside (given we’d just come from sitting in the Enyaq).

The new Kona is on the scheme but not in EV form yet. It gets huge kudo’s from me because it has plent of proper tactile buttons, rather than the usuall thesedays intergrated in the HUD, which I’m far from a fan of!

Another positive with it is, it just past the 300 mile barrier, so something Mike might want to view in ICE form to get a feel agains’t the Niro, as I expect the EV will be on the scheme in q1 if not before!

ICE wise, there’s a 140hp hybrid and a 195hp petrol engine only with a decent mpg figure.

    Too small for us though.
