What car are you currently driving? I am in a VW golf at the moment and looking at the Ioniq 6, it is much bigger. If you have a smaller car now, then please let me know how it feels to drive a bigger car ?

My previous motability car was a golf which is now our second car.

I’m currently driving around in a jaguar XF. My impression is that it feels smaller than the Jaaaaag but feels about as nimble as the Golf. It’s a bigger car .. your mileage may vary.

how you/your carer find putting the wheelchair in the boot and removing it.

I’m currently a walking stick only person. But the boot seems accessible enough for a folding chair. The back seats go down however minus points for it not being a flat load floor. I’ll get a picture once I’m done (also why is it raining, probably another thread).

BMW i4. If you have, please let me know which is the better drive.

The BMW has it, marginally. A lot of people will tell you they can feel the difference with the ultimate driving machine .. they can’t. What they’re feeling is the badge. I’ve owned several BMWs pre and post-disability. The difference isn’t worth the price difference. I’m amazed at how well screwed together this car is. BMW idrive wins every time though, why do these touchscreens have to be so annoying ??‍♂️?

    my Hyundai dealer

Get a new Hyundai dealer. Apparently they have stock to shift but if a factory order is required then they will do it. The fact they have stock has floored me haha.

push/pull hand controls fitted, the drive selector on the right of the steering wheel looks like it may be in the way?

You’re right, it is where I’d expect the hand controller to be. Is switching sides an option? I’m sure they have come across this before however.

Colours, are there any restrictions on the colours available to us?

The chap was saying that Red and Byte Blue are available for free, and that anything else is cost option. 650 metallic and 850 pearl. This is different to my previous experience (BMW & VW).
