Mine is the same, used to be very good, could always get an appointment the same or next day. Not any more.
Post Covid it’s all gone to pot (being polite here), need an appointment for tests for the heart failure team, ring us in 3 weeks. So I can’t get an appointment for 3 weeks?, no, you’ll have to ring in 3 weeks to see when we can get you an appointment at all. 🙁
Went up to the practice (as I was in Boots next door for meds), I need a blood sample for heart team ASAP, nobody to do it, 2 weeks wait. Are there no nurses or doctors in today?, yes there are, but there’s only me here, no other patients waiting? No, all too busy doing God knows what (about 5 doctors and 4 nurses) to spend 5mins taking a blood sample, 2 weeks or nothing.
Heart team asked what beta blocker and ACE inhibitor I was on for the atrial fibrilation, none, why not? because I didn’t know I needed them and nobody’s offered me any or even told me I need them in the three years since they told me I had AF!.
Hopeless springs to mind 🙁
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
