This is the problem, and to be open I actually am a PA for the Motability customer and they just will not deal well with knowing about the credit hire arrangement, and that is balanced by that I really cannot take it out of their hands and proceed without their knowledge. As I say all they want is a small car which will keep them mobile while theirs is being repaired.
It seems that because there is a high chance that costs can be recovered against a third party, the insurance company try to refer the customer to a third party credit hire company.
Am on the phone to Direct Line now and settled down for another 2 hour phone call!
