Daf and Berty both seem to think getting rid of ice cars will suddenly end climate change. Utter nonsense and ignores the other factors about climate change.
Exactly, and as the dates move closer, and those who cannot afford the high up front costs and don’t have the ability to charge at home start to be pushed towards EVs, the push back will start to get greater and greater, especially as the UKs contribution to the global environment is so tiny.
We clearly need to do our part, but until the likes of China, USA, India etc get their acts together, I’m not sure that financially punishing people is a great vote winner and, when all is said and done, that’s what political parties of all colours are concerned about.
