I remember at the last general election what Jeremy Corbyn said when asked “where are you going to find the money to re-nationalises the railways” his reply was “we will find it somewhere”. Sort of sums up Europe banning something hoping something might work to take its place with no end game. I hope all this stuff coming from China and the Congo is by electric ships.
What European goverments are good at is off setting carbon footprints to make them look greener than green by planting a few tree’s maybe 100’s or even 1000’s miles from where the footprint was supposedly created. Very similar to the way they keep dirty industries that suit governments and kid themselves by planting a few tree’s, whilst looking at s as fools!
