Just about every manufacturer has problems and as @RogerWilko says if you hit the facebook group for any car you’ll find problems, whether its an alarm triggered by the aircon when preconditioning on the Ariya, multiple electrical problems on the ZS, batteries failing on the Ioniq 5, there’s always problems.

Remember human nature works on the principle that if something goes to plan you tell nobody, if it goes well you might, just might, tell someone unless asked, however, if one thing goes wrong you’ll complain, find anyone who’ll listen and complain to them too.  The internet has boosted that immeasurably, not only does one person complain if something goes wrong but everyone who also found that, or knows someone who found it or even read about it joins in until you have a continual problem with that car.  Reputations have been created in this way and there’s little a manufacturer can do about it.  It might be a small matter that they correct through the next service or even a recall, should it be sufficiently serious.  However, the internet researchers will find this problem and no mention of it being cured (because they don’t post when it’s not a problem) and so it may be an underlying problem or an ongoing reason not to buy this car.  Then one person asks a question like this and then it might come to light as some owners say they had their car recalled and fixed and maybe someone else says they had their car for months and it’s not been a problem.  The question is, how does human nature deal with these examples of evidence that all is now good?

I don’t know if the MG4 is the best thing going or not but I have seen how a perfectly reasonable car gets labeled as poor because it had one issue that was common but got fixed at service (see, it wasn’t even important enough for a recall) and gained a reputation for reliability issues.
