Hi Arma
The reason why we say “to get rid of old stock” is because the Mk3 Tiguan goes on sale at the end f this year and goes without reason they won’t be making the Mk2.5 any more.
I came to the R-Line Tiguan from a KIA Carens and while the KIA was a worthy car my new car leaves it in the shade and having my Tiguan since the end of February I’ve clocked up twice as many miles in that time than I did in the same time with my KIA, it is a joy to drive.
Get it on a Motorway and it more or less drives itself so very relaxing going any distance. Even in traffic its a joy just turning on the ACC and letting the car in front of you do all the driving.
The stiffer suspension can be a problem for some but again for myself coming from the Sherman Carens tank its smooth enough for me.
Its a good choice with the way things are at the moment and you should enjoy it when it arrives.
